The sneaker invasion trend has invaded almost every stylish girl’s closet over the last decade. It is one of those trends that our feet can only be thankful for. Clarks has been a leader in producing quality shoes that are known for their comfortable fit and one of a kind arch support. Their recent collections that incorporated casual styles with a modern twist had my attention even before I locked in my search for a new pair of kicks.
Since I dress everyone in the family, I love the convenience of one-stop shopping. For those who have been following me for a while, you know that Zappos has my heart for many reasons. Great customer service along with the best return policy I have ever heard of (365 days). They boast a really wide range of styles and brands which makes shoping with them so much fun. Dressing everyone in my family can be tough to fit everyone’s perameters, so having a place that makes the process convenient and seamless is key to making it pleasurable for me.
Since the grandpa sneaker trend rescinding, I was on a search to replace them with a classic kick that would look good with a variety of my outfits, while providing comfort that I need in my busy day to day life. I wanted something classic looking, casual and in a low top setting. When I came across Clarks Un Maui Strap, my search was over. The Velcro straps add to the look so I was sold.
I picked up a similar pair for Andy to upgrade his fall looks. We both love how comfortable they feel on our feet. They are incredibly light and craddle your feet like a cloud.
I chose my style in classic white, as I wanted the versatility, but they are also offered in an animal print which is all the hype this fall season. I have been styling these with so many different outfits, from this casual everyday set to a chic mini dress and edgy jumpsuit; they literally pair with anything.
For our recent outing with Andy where I attempted to ride his skateboard, I styled the shoes with a summer romper and an oversized sweater. I love how the look came together. As far as me skateboarding skills, well that is a work in progress!
I styled Andy’s kicks with a casual denim ensemble for our daytime stroll. The shoes are comfortable enough for an activity like skateboarding, yet classy enough to be styled for a dressier occasion like dinner out.
