With Fashion Month wrapping up, the Spring trends are officially out and ready to be styled by the street fashionistas like you and me. Here are 3 trends that will up your street style game and set you apart this spring. With warmer days just around the corner, it is a great time to let the outfit planning begin.
- Utility Jumpsuits
This jumpsuit trend is the ultimate Off-Duty outfit. Yet it can be tricky to pull off, but if you do it right, you’re guaranteed to look effortlessly cool. The key to successfully pulling a utility one piece is all about the styling. Balance the industrial feel of the jumpsuit with details to elevate the look—strappy heels, ladylike bags, and delicate jewelry. Even my example paired with combat boots but in white has an undeniable coolness effect. To soften the look I layered a classic trench. Plus an all beige or all nude look is another major spring trend factor.
2. Add Some Yellow
Yellow emerged as the top color trend on the spring 2019 runways during New York Fashion Week. It is officially the “it” color trend for spring, whether you choose it a solid lemon tone or a variation of it, you are sure to add a nice pop to your outfit. You would not think, but yellow is a very versatile option to wear with blacks, white, denim or overalls. Adding a little is a great way to dip your toes into this colorful trend.
3. Buckle Up Girl
Did you miss the western trend craze? Here is the best way to do it, buckle it up with a belt. Whether you are tying it around your favorite dress or adding definition to an oversized blazer, the belt trend gives us so much freedom to create endless and effortless looks from items we already have.
